The Business Unit is the base structure of the BRM Model. At the business unit level, companies can represent all structures with complete characterization. All information is grouped by common characteristics and presented in a portal so it can be managed according to predefined business rules. In this application, one Business Unit can also contain other dependent Business Units and Organizational Units representing the company hierarchy, shown in a tree structure. In iB Organization, a Business Unit aggregates several objects, that all together describe the Business Relationships. iB Organization, as an iB process enabled application, also transforms data management into processes, with validation and analysis capabilities.
